Student Life

LIFE IN LOS ANGELES

It is not easy to leave family and friends at home to study in the United States. We understand this. That is why our International Student Office has a staff trained to assist you with your special needs.

From the day we receive your application until the time you graduate or transfer to a four-year University, we will help you with academic counseling, orientation to the college, English and math testing, placement in classes, course selection, registration and personal concerns.

Our staff is committed to your success - we want to help you reach your goals. We also have an International Students Club (ISC) that arranges a variety of student social and cultural events.

All international students are encouraged to take the Personal Development 15Y class. This course discusses different aspects of American life. Students learn about the American education system, current social issues, customs and career/job opportunities.
