The granite for this eight foot monolith
comes from southern Utah and weighs approximately two tons.
Water bubbles from the center. Three bronze doves look
out over the garden.
The fountain area is a memorial to Jeff Smallwood, an
instructor in the Life Science Department, who died of AIDS
several years ago. A bronze plaque mounted nearby
celebrates his life and contributions to Pierce College.
