Corporate or Individual Sponsorships Available

An example of a sponsored garden feature:

"Vantage Point III" Fountain

sculpture by Santa Barbara Sculptor Bob Stein

The granite for this eight foot monolith comes from southern Utah and weighs approximately two tons.  Water bubbles from the center.  Three bronze doves look out over the garden.

The fountain area is a memorial to Jeff Smallwood, an instructor in the Life Science Department, who died of AIDS several years ago.  A bronze plaque mounted nearby celebrates his life and contributions to Pierce College.

Benches are popular features throughout the garden.  Each bench has a commemorative plaque to honor friends, family or colleagues.

Sponsorship amount: $1000.00

Please contact James Rikel if you would like to sponsor a bench.

Evolution Walk

Natural Stone Amphitheater

Outdoor lectures are possible on our natural stone outcrop, forming an amphitheater of natural stone.  Casaurina trees are planted for natural screening, and give a pleasant "whispering" sound in the breeze.

Sponsorship amount: $

Writer's Circle

As our garden borders the English building, donors may wish to sponsor a circular rock wall, serving as a peaceful corner of the garden where individuals or groups of students can write.

Sponsorship amount: $500.00 and up

Shade structure

Three mission style shade structures are installed in the garden.  Sponsors may donate funds for all or part of each structure.  Donor plaques will be prominently displayed.

Individual Plant Sponsorships

Donors may select from a wide variety of special plants to "adopt".

We can suggest plants for almost any amount, ranging from a "
Chocolate Daisy"  for $50.00 to a twelve foot tall "Fouquieria" for $800.00.

Each donation will be acknowledged with a metal plaque featuring the sponsor's name.

The "Chocolate Daisy" - yes, it does smell
like chocolate!
