COUNSELING OFFICE Located in the main Administration Building. Students who desire
academic, personal, career or educational planning, are encouraged
to consult with a counselor.
Appointments are requested; but
students who wish immediate assistance may see a counselor at the
walk-in counter.
HELP Center
The HELP Center provides short-term personal counseling for students
whose problems are interfering with academic, career, and/or social
functioning.
Examples of concerns are: Depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts,
eating disorders, and sexual identity issues.
Discussions are confidential and service will be provided by designated
counselors in the counseling department and Special Services. Counseling
is short-term (approximately six sessions) and referrals can be
made to the Pierce psychologists at the Health
Center and/or community agencies.
There is no charge for services.
