Most PACE classes meet one evening (6-8 and/or 8-10) and every other Saturday for 4 hours. PACE classes meet transfer guidelines but are accelerated to fit into 8 week quarters instead of full 15 week semesters. The PACE program is designed to allow you to earn your AA and be ready to transfer in two years by taking 10 classes every year. The PACE program is an alternative for working people who want to get a college degree by attending classes in the evenings and on Saturday. Academic standards and class workload are the same as in regular semester classes only compressed into 8 week quarters.
The PACE office is located in Village 8340, which is behind the North and South Gyms. We have a banner on the trailor that says "MAKE IT HAPPEN." Please visit this website often so that you can keep yourself up-to-date on the offerings and happenings in the PACE program here at Pierce College and at our off-campus locations. Click on the links above to find out all about the PACE program and how PACE can make your educational goals become a reality.
