Pierce College offers Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees.

Continuing students should refer to the graduation requirements listed in the catalog in effect at the time of their initial enrollment. A continuing student is one who has completed a minimum of one course per calendar year. Students who interrupt their attendance, except as noted above, become subject to any new requirements which are in effect at the time they re-enroll.
PROCEDURE FOR RECEIVING THE DEGREE
■ You must file a petition for the degree in the Graduation Office. To graduate in Fall or Spring, a petition should be
submitted at the beginning of the previous semester. The student’s academic record will be reviewed and the student will
receive a "grad check" letter listing outstanding degree requirements that should be met during his/her final semester.

Graduation Petition

■ If you have completed coursework at other schools that you believe meets some of your degree requirements, you may petition for course substitution. For guidance, please consult a counselor either in person or online @ http://www.piercecollege.edu/offices/counseling.
