FRIENDS OF PATH*

*Performing Arts Theater on the Hill 

  The Los Angeles Pierce College Theater Arts Department has joined with the Pierce College Foundation to create Friends of PATH, a non-profit community organization whose goal is to raise funding and community awareness for the Theater Department's productions, educational programs, and facilities.

By joining Friends of PATH, you help support the theater arts in the West San Fernando Valley and neighboring communities.  Pierce College productions, which strive for the highest levels of artistic endeavor and production values, are a cultural asset to the community.  These productions represent the hard work and talents of our theater students, staff, and community members.  

Public educational funding for our courses and box-office receipts are often not enough to maintain these levels of excellence.  Financial support from the Friends of PATH is essential.  Volunteered time and services is also greatly appreciated.

With a minimum annual dues of $35, members of Friends of PATH enjoy benefits such as prime seating reservations, invitations to receptions, special recognition in the play programs, and opportunities to discuss the productions with the director, cast and crew.  Members can take pride in helping to support entertaining, thought-provoking, professional-style, state-of-the-art theater at their local community college!

The next Friends of PATH meeting will be Thursday, May 6, 2004 @ 7:30pm at the Performing Arts Building (PAB) Arena Theater. All are welcome to attend.
