ELECTRONICS 81 PROJECTS LABORATORY

Making an EL 81 Project for the 1st
Time
Those taking EL81 for the first time should make an approved kit. Such a kit is one that has enough parts and fabrications steps to make it a worthwhile educational experience, yet has good instructions for a beginner to follow. Kits that “snap together” or only have a few parts do not fall into this category. Decide with the instructor on a kit that will be appropriate for you. We have had great success with the Elenco DMM kit. It has good instructions and the company has been responsive dealing with any problems with missing or damaged parts. In addition, you will have a very beneficial piece of electronic test equipment – one that will allow you to continue learning electronics outside the classroom! This kit is therefore highly recommended for first timers. If you wish to make any other kit or non-kit project it must be approved by the advisor.
