For the seventh time in
9 years, the Pierce
Women's Soccer team captured the WSC Southern
Division Championship under Head Coach Adolfo
Perez.
Advancing to the Southern California
California Regional Playoffs for the
ninth year in a row;
they faced MT SAC
in the first round winning
in PK's 4-1, followed
by San Bernardino Valley losing to them 0-1 to be eliminated
from the playoffs and ending the season with a
17-3-2 record.
Coach Adolfo Perez was named WSC South
Coach of the Year and Stephanie Cubias
was named Player of the Year.
First Team All-Conference was awarded to
Jennifer Alvarez, Michelle
Oakes, Megan Quinn, Ani Rishori, and Erica
Vangsness. .
Second Team All-Conference was awarded to
Nicole Jovel, Rachel Kove, Betty Ramirez
and Samantha Tan.
Evelyn Cortez
received All-Conference Honorable Mention.
