Women's Soccer: 2009 Western State Conference Southern Division Champions!!

For the seventh time in 9 years, the Pierce Women's Soccer team captured the WSC Southern Division Championship under Head Coach Adolfo Perez. Advancing to the Southern California California Regional Playoffs for the ninth year in a row; they faced  MT SAC in the first round winning in  PK's 4-1, followed by San Bernardino Valley losing to them 0-1 to be eliminated from the playoffs and ending the season with a 17-3-2 record.

Coach Adolfo Perez was named WSC South Coach of the Year and Stephanie Cubias was named Player of the Year. First Team All-Conference was awarded to Jennifer Alvarez, Michelle Oakes, Megan Quinn, Ani Rishori, and Erica Vangsness.   . Second Team All-Conference was awarded to  Nicole Jovel, Rachel Kove, Betty Ramirez and Samantha Tan.  Evelyn Cortez received  All-Conference Honorable Mention.

2009 Women's Volleyball- 

The team's final record for the year was 11-14. First Team All-Conference was awarded to Brooke McFerren. Second Team All-Conference was awarded to Reanna Hill, Alexa Micek and Natasha Wilroy. Honorable Mention was awarded to Carolin Luppens and Reyna Rochin. Coach Mardini has been named Coach of the Year 4 out of the last 6 years.

Reyna Rochin- San Francisco State Univ.

 

Football- 2009 Season-Conference Champs!!!

Under Head Coach, Efrain Martinez, Pierce Football finished  with a 7-4 record in the second year of the Southern California Football Association American Division Pacific Conference. For the first time since 1985 Pierce was named conference champs and  went on to  face  No. 1 seed Mt. SAC in the So Cal Bowl losing  31-69.

MEN'S BASKETBALL- 2009-2010     Make Playoffs for the first time since 1983!!!!

 The Men's Basketball team lead by Coach Ed Babayan finished the season with a record of 16-12, 9-3 in conference and made the playoffs for the first time since 1983. They went on to play San Bernardino Valley ranked #1 in the State and lost 77-64.

1st Team: Terran Carter and Ever Lopez

Honorable Mention: Josh Thomas and Jeremy White.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL-2009

The Pierce Men's Volleyball team finished the season with a 11-6 record under Coach Ed Stanislawski. Joseph Finnerty was awarded 1st Team All Conference and Josh Marbach was awarded 2nd Team All-Conference.

BASEBALL: 2009  


Under head Coach Joe Arnold, Pierce ended the season with a 22-20 record.

The following players were selected as WSC Southern Division First Team All Conference: James Wharton, David Whetstone, Nik Rodarte and J.P. O'Leary

Second Team All Conference was awarded to : Jason Barmasse and Carlos Gonzalez.

Honorable Mention All Conference was awarded to: Ryan Gasporra and Sean Spear.

WOMEN'S SOFTBALL-2009

Softball ended the season with a 9-28 win-loss record under Coach Pat Grennan



WOMEN'S BASKETBALL 2009-20010

Under Coach Jim Couch, they ended their season with a 14-15 record.

Tessondra Williams were awarded 1st Team All Conference.

Candyse Farmer as awarded Honorable Mention.
