This is Angela’s first year with the Women’s Volleyball Program at Pierce College. Angela Hupp is a celebrated Palmdale-area standout and returns to the coaching sidelines after a season spent overseas playing professional volleyball in Europe. After a slew of club and high school awards and accomplishments, Angela went on to win further accolades as a scholarship athlete at Cal State Northridge.
In 2007, she earned Freshman of the Year honors as setter at the school and guided the team to significant NCAA success, and received All-Conference honors three consecutive seasons thereafter.
In 2008, she brought her experience to the other side of the aisle as an assistant coach with for girls club, as well as with SMBC Boys in the 16's division. Prior to going overseas, Angela assisted LAVA South coach Trevor Julian as their 16-1 team took home a Volleyball Festival championship, while also serving as assistant coach of the SMBC Boys 15-Black team that won the bronze medal at the 2010 Boys Junior Nationals.
In 2011, Angela assisted Nabil in taking his 18 and under club team to the 18’s Volleyball Festival championship match.
