What/who inspired you to play volleyball? : I just tried it as a freshman and decided I wasn’t too bad at it and continued to play. My former coach, Meredith Rice, is one of the main reasons I love it so much though; she’s hands down my biggest inspiration for playing the sport.

Describe yourself – I’m actually pretty shy and fairly quiet…well until you get to know me at least. I think it would be physically impossible for me to try to function without doing something athletic every single day.

What do you think your biggest contribution to the team is?  My biggest contribution to the team is probably my accountability; I’m always open to listening to my teammates and be trusted in any circumstance. I also add a little bit of laughter to the team (especially with my sound effects) which is necessary sometimes, especially when things are getting serious.

Goals : My main goals are to open up a sports center for preventative as well as rehabilitating sports care in addition to personal training. Also to make sure I do everything I can to make sure my mom never has to worry about anything. I love you mommy!

Why did you choose to play for Pierce College?: Honestly, because Nabil is probably one of the most persistent people I know; at least in the pursuit to get me to play- which I figured was a very good quality I should be looking for in a coach.
