What/who inspired you to play volleyball?
In seventh grade they were holding volleyball tryouts at my school and I was debating
going out for the team. My dad told me that I could do it, bought me knee pads that very
night, and I was on the team the following day. :)
Describe yourself:
Very quiet once I first meet someone, but as time passes I am more willing to open up to
them.
What do you think your biggest contribution to the team is?
I always try to maintain a positive attitude on and off the court. When the team or a
teammate is having a rough time, I encourage them to persevere and give positive
feedback whenever I can.
Goals: I would like to complete my first two years of general education at Pierce Community
College and then transfer to a four year university. I hope to have a very successful
season of volleyball and possibly be three-peat State Champions!!! Lastly, meet some
amazing people, make a few friends, share some crazy memories, and keep myself out of
trouble along the way. :)
Why did you choose to play for Pierce College?
I chose to play for Pierce because I knew that it was the best possible place for me to
learn the skills needed to become an exceptional volleyball player. Had I not gone to
Pierce, I would not be playing volleyball, therefore I would have gave up one of my
greatest passions.
