	Pauli Carnes holds a BA in philosophy/English literature from Douglass College of Rutgers University and an MA in English/education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has been a newspaper reporter, "ghost writer" of books on marketing, Eastern medicine, art therapy, and inventing, and a copy writer for small business entrepreneurs. 	Bill Coonfield has taught English at Pierce College since 1963. He has a BA ('51) from the University of New Mexico, an MS ('71) in mathematics from the University of Southern California, and an MA ('76) in English from CSUN. His primary career has been in business and technical writing, and he also has almost 4 decades in college and secondary education. He has been president of the Northridge Civic Association and a fund raiser for the North Valley YMCA. His office is in 3106 and his telephone is 818 710-2897. His mailbox is 556.

	Shannon Diffner is a part-time instructor in the English Department. She holds a Master's degree in Literature from San Francisco State University, and has taught Eng 28, Eng 101 and Eng 102, as well as the Encore program's "Literature and the Human Experience." 	Charlotte Doctor has a BA from SDSU and an MA from U of Kentucky. She came to Pierce in 1989. She is now retired.
	Curt Duffy is an adjunct faculty for Los Angeles Pierce College and a Student Services Consultant at West Coast University. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles and is currently working on an EdD in Educational Leadership & Change at Fielding Graduate University. 	Tom Kageff is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Claremont Graduate University, specializing in the American Literature of the 1950s/60s and Critical Theory. 	Martin Shea, has a BA in Philosophy from Manhattan College, an MA in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia, and an MA, Gilman Fellow in Writing from Johns Hopkins. In the late 60's, he taught Humanities and was Director of Theatre at the Cooper Union College in New York City. His writings include Waking On The Bridge, Red Moon Press, April 08. 	Lori Wolf From 1993-1997, Lori Wolf taught all levels of composition. She is happy to be back at Pierce College, where she will be teaching composition courses once again. Lori earned her BA and MA in English from California State University, Northridge. A dedicated, hard-working writer, she is the author of two novels: Gothic Doo-Wop and Parrot on a Limb, the first in a mystery series. Both are available through our web page and Amazon.com.
